A Connecticut man was killed after losing control of his vehicle in a single vehicle crash, authorities said.

Fairfield County resident Andrew Chapin, 31, of Shelton, was killed around 8 a.m. on Tuesday, November 9, in the town of Seymour, New Haven County, police said. State of Connecticut.

According to the soldiers, Chapin was riding a Kawasaki motorcycle, heading north on Route 8, in the area of ​​Exit 21, Seymour Town when he failed to “maintain a proper lane and veered towards the shoulder. law”.

Chapin was thrown from the motorcycle and sustained fatal injuries, soldiers said.

He was transported by Seymour Ambulance to Waterbury Emergency Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead, they added.

The soldiers said that during the accident the weather was clear, the road was dry and the traffic was light and moving at a constant pace.
