5 dirt bikes stolen from motorsport business in Plainfield overnight | Connecticut News
PLAINFIELD, CT (WFSB) – Five dirt bikes and apparel were stolen from a motorsports store in Plainfield early Tuesday morning.
Police say they responded to a burglary alarm at Motorsports Nation on Norwich Road.
The alarm went off just before 3 a.m.
Investigators found that two Kawasaki off-road motorcycles, two Honda off-road motorcycles, a Yamaha off-road motorcycle and several items of clothing were taken away by at least five masked suspects.
The suspects appeared to have forced their way into the business through a side door.
The suspects were driving a U-Haul van truck with an image of several snakes on the rear passenger side and what appeared to be a camel on the rear driver side.

Both vehicles were last seen on surveillance footage heading north on Norwich Road towards Kate Downing Road.
