Hero Xtreme 160R is getting more expensive in India. Check the new price here

Hero MotoCorp recently announced a price hike for its product portfolio. As a result, his Xtreme 160R motorcycle also became more expensive in the country as much as ??2,370. All variants of the entry-level sports commuter got more expensive by the same amount.

Except for the price increase, there is no other change on the bike.

Xtreme 160R Single Disc base trim now costs ??1 11 610 (ex-showroom, Delhi), while the Double Disc and 100 Million Edition versions are now priced at ??1 14 660 (ex-showroom, Delhi) and ??1 16 460 (ex-showroom, Delhi), respectively. The Xtreme 160R is a direct rival to other 160cc motorcycles such as the Bajaj Pulsar NS 160, Suzuki Gixxer 155, TVS Apache RTR 160 4V and Yamaha FZ S FI.

The Xtreme 160R is a fairly popular offering in its segment. It is suitably equipped in terms of functionality and technology. Some of its main features include negative LCD console, full LED lighting, side stand motor shutdown, slide function, etc. As for the mechanics, the bike uses a 163cc single cylinder engine which has been designed to develop 15hp of maximum power and 14Nm of maximum torque. The transmission option also remains the same five-speed unit.
