State Patrol: Biker clocked 130mph before surrendering

A motorcyclist was jailed on Friday after leading law enforcement in a high-speed chase. At approximately 4:30 p.m., an Iowa State Patrol trooper attempted to stop a 2009 Kawasaki ZX600 motorcycle near United Community School in Boone County. The motorcycle ran away and traveled westbound on Iowa Highway 30 at speeds over 130 mph. He later proceeded without incident, west of Scranton. The driver was taken to Boone County Jail and is charged with escape and numerous other traffic charges.
