The rider line-up for next season’s MotoGP World Championship is becoming increasingly composed, and this Friday three more vacancies were officially filled – one with the Ducati factory team and two with Prima Pramac Racing.
With the renewal of Johann Zarco and Jorge MartIn by Pramac and the move of Enea Bastianini to Ducati alongside Francesco Bagnaia, there are only seven places left to be filled – and that is of course on an official basis.
There are two positions in the factory team – one alongside Pol Espargaro in the GasGas team and another alongside Marc Marquez in the Repsol Honda team, which would be for Joan Mir. The Mooney VR46 Racing team and the RNF MotoGP team do not have confirmed riders.
Valentino Rossi’s Italian side currently have Luca Marini and Marco Bezzecchi both performing well and there is no likelihood of a change. Razlan Razali’s structure will be completely renewed in what will be his first season with Aprilia. Alex Rins’ LCR Honda teammate has yet to be confirmed and according to the latest rumors from the international press, it could well be Takaaki Nakagami.
