On the outside, there’s a sharper, more aggressive body design with a revamped LED headlight setup. While the dual LED daytime running lights have been positioned on the underside of the front fascia, the turn signals are mounted on its head. The seat features a slightly stepped design, then there are blacked-out alloy wheels with disc brakes and a two-tone body theme. A 3D model name emblem has been added to the side body panel in a sporty layout with contrasting color “GT”.

At the heart of the scooter is a 125cc air-cooled engine which has been engineered to deliver 8hp of power and 9.7Nm of peak torque and is mated to a CVT gearbox. At this power, this engine is slightly underpowered compared to the 125cc scooters that are sold by Yamaha in the Indian market.

As for the feature list, it has a full LCD dashboard, LED lights and a remote ignition key. The scooter is currently being sold in the Chinese market, but it is unlikely to be announced in the Indian market anytime soon. However, Yamaha Motor India will likely bring special editions of the Fascino and Ray ZR to the country, as both scooters are popular with younger consumers.
