After a few years of hiatus due to the pandemic, Suzuki is once again organizing the official event in Hamamatsu, at Hamamatsu Fruit Park.
“Let’s have fun with Katana!” is the theme of the first in-person Suzuki Katana meeting to be held in three years. As of July 7, 2022, it is scheduled to take place on September 11, 2022, which is a Sunday. Doors will open at 9:00 a.m. local time and the event will run from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Bicycle parking is free, but organizers warn that there is no parking available for four-wheeled vehicles. (Sorry, Suzuki Aerio, Jimny and Carry fans!)
Also, if you participated in the Suzuki Katana Big Flag project from 2021, don’t worry – this flag will be displayed to greet all visitors who attend the Suzuki Katana meeting in 2022. Since the start of the Suzuki Katana Meeting, the organizers have created a special limited edition jersey every year in honor of the event. During the three years that the event could not take place due to the pandemic, Suzuki still made the jerseys available to the fans, as a sign of encouragement that we would all eventually get through this difficult time together.
Now that the stage is set for the return of the in-person fun, a new Katana Meeting 2022 shirt design is on sale starting July 7, 2022.
