The confined May 2021 saw some pretty dismal sales for premium bikes between Rs 1 lakh and Rs 2 lakh. However, things picked up in June 2021 as the numbers steadily rise. Here are the top five high-end bikes that had the most sales in June 2021:

Model

Units sold in June 2021

TVS Apache

30 233

Royal Enfield Classic 350

17 377

Yamaha FZ

11 084

Royal Enfield Meteor 350

8,770

Royal Enfield 350 Ball

5,317

As in May 2021, the top honors went to TVS’s Apache line. Now this is a cumulative number of Apache RTR160, RTR160 4V, RTR 180, and the RTR200 4V, but it’s still impressive.

The finalist of the Apaches is the Royal Enfield Classic 350, with more than 17,000 units sold last month. Expect this number to only get better now that the 2021 Classic 350 is ready for production and in just a few weeks.

Plond between Indian bikemakers is Japanese Yamaha FZ range. With 11,084 units sold, the number has certainly improved, probably thanks to the addition of the FZ-X. That said, the FZs are still miles away from their big rivals, the TVS Apaches.

In fourth and fifth place we have the Royal Enfield Meteor 350 and Bullet 350. While the Meteor 350 saw an increase in sales of 5,000 units, the Bullet 350 sold 1,300 units less compared to May 2021.
