Honda Activa electric a possibility

Honda will launch its own electric two-wheeler in India in the next fiscal year, as confirmed by the brand’s president in a recent interview. The company was spotted testing the Benly e last year, but we suspect it will definitely offer the Activa E as its first offering. Considering how popular the Activa moniker is enjoying in India, it makes sense that the brand would capitalize on the brand recall by launching its electric version.

Besides the Activa E, Honda might also bring the CBR150R back to India very soon. As revealed by the big boss of the brand, Honda plans to focus more on the 150cc motorcycle segment in the near future. He also recently filed design marks for the CBR150R, further bolstering speculation. The bike will be a close rival to the Yamaha YZF R15 V4 which is hugely popular in India.
